
The Harris School Welcomes Visiting Faculty
A large group of scholars and practitioners are joining
the Harris School as visiting faculty members during 2003-04.
Experts in a wide range of fields and professions, they hail
from all over campus, throughout Chicago, and beyond.
Robert Goerge, Sidney Hans, Kenneth A.
Rasinski, Lisa Rosen, and Lawrence Rothfield are
visitors from the wider University community. Scholars
visiting from other universities include Werner Troesken,
an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh,
and Andrew Rehfeld, assistant professor at
Washington University.
Chicago-area professionals visiting this year include: Jack
Bierig, Partner, Sidney, Austin, Brown & Wood,
LLP; Sean Durkin, Senior Consultant, Chicago Partners; Frank
Kruesi, President, Chicago Transit Authority; Rowan
Miranda, Director of Research and Consulting, Government
Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada; Daniel
Sullivan, Senior Economist and Vice-President, Federal
Reserve Bank of Chicago; David Wilhelm, President,
Wilhelm/Conlon Group; and Paula Wolff, Senior Executive,
Chicago Metropolis 2020. The experience and expertise of
this group is further increased by the return of Laurent
Fabius, a current member of the French Parliament and
a former Prime Minister of France. |
