Visiting Faculty

The Harris School Welcomes Visiting Faculty

A large group of scholars and practitioners are joining the Harris School as visiting faculty members during 2003-04. Experts in a wide range of fields and professions, they hail from all over campus, throughout Chicago, and beyond.

Robert Goerge, Sidney Hans, Kenneth A. Rasinski, Lisa Rosen, and Lawrence Rothfield are visitors from the wider University community. Scholars visiting from other universities include Werner Troesken, an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh, and Andrew Rehfeld, assistant professor at Washington University.

Chicago-area professionals visiting this year include: Jack Bierig, Partner, Sidney, Austin, Brown & Wood, LLP; Sean Durkin, Senior Consultant, Chicago Partners; Frank Kruesi, President, Chicago Transit Authority; Rowan Miranda, Director of Research and Consulting, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada; Daniel Sullivan, Senior Economist and Vice-President, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; David Wilhelm, President, Wilhelm/Conlon Group; and Paula Wolff, Senior Executive, Chicago Metropolis 2020. The experience and expertise of this group is further increased by the return of Laurent Fabius, a current member of the French Parliament and a former Prime Minister of France.
