Mr. George Antoun is the General Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Lebanon. In the 1990s and during the regional depression, Mr. Antoun envisioned the emergence of a new blossoming Central Asia. Therefore, he was one of the first international businessmen who invested in Kyrgyzstan and his FDI was estimated in 2001 to be the third largest in the Central Asian region. Currently, Mr. Antoun owns 13 companies operating in the fields of real estate and development, cement industry, construction materials industry, tourism, hypermarkets, and farming. Mr. Antoun is also pioneering public private partnership efforts in Kyrgyzstan and promoting effective corporate social responsibility in the country.
