Amy Claessens

Post-Doctoral Fellow

Amy Claessens received her PhD in Human Development and Social Policy from Northwestern University in August 2007. Her dissertation research focused on the development and determinants of academic and socioemotional skills in middle childhood. Her current research focuses on education policy in Chicago Public Schools, including the effectiveness of small schools and charter schools.
