Harris School Hosts Luncheon with Jordanian Ambassador
Speaking at a luncheon with members of the Harris School community, His Royal Highness Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, Jordanian ambassador to the United States and non-resident ambassador to Mexico, offered insight into the Arab-Israeli conflict and answered audience questions on a range of topics affecting the Middle East.
Prince Zeid was previously Jordan’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations from August 2000 to December 2006, and had served as the deputy permanent representative since 1996. In September 2002 he was elected the first president of the governing body of the International Criminal Court, a position he held until November 2005.
