Harris Professor Colm O'Muircheartaigh at the 2005 University Latke Hamantasch Debate, quoted in New York Times

Colm O'Muircheartaigh, Harris School professor and statistician, was one of the three University faculty members debating the merits and faults of the latke and the hamantasch at the 2005 Great Latke Hamantasch Debate. O'Muircheartaigh pointed to statistical evidence to make his case for the latke, as noted by a New York Times article, "Such Sound and Fury! Tradition! Einsteins in Food Fight of Words" (Nov. 24, 2005)
