The Career Development Office, along with the entire Chicago Harris and greater University community, is committed to supporting you in your efforts. Make us the first stop in your journey to identify critical career resources, to connect with dynamic people and organizations, and to solving public policy problems in our society.
Our graduates have made significant contributions in all areas of the public policy community: in government, in the private sector, and in nonprofit and NGO organizations. Successful alumni attribute their success to their substantive analytical training, their understanding of policy beyond the classroom, and to the networks they developed with professional mentors, peers, and professors.
Finding the perfect internship or full time position doesn't just happen: it takes timely planning, effective utilization of resources, and diligent follow-through. The Career Development Office is here to help with:
