Welcome to the Office of Admission

At the Harris School, we look hard at every applicant. We choose from among the best and brightest students to create a class that will yield policy professionals of the highest caliber.

Last year, we received more than 750 applications for admission from students in the United States and 50 other countries for the class that starting in fall 2007. Of those, we enrolled approximately 120 in Master's programs and 16 in the PhD program. The class entering in 2007 is 58% women and 17% American minorities. International students represent 30% of the class and come from 23 countries. Together, these students have earned degrees in more than 75 different undergraduate majors and 90% of them have previous work experience.

The mix of personal and professional experience makes for a rich and dynamic atmosphere in which students inspire each other and help shape life at the Harris School.
