El Salvador Fellowship Program
The El Salvador Fellowship provides full tuition, fees and annual stipend for students who have been admitted to the one-year AM or two-year MPP program. The fellowships will be awarded on a competitive, merit basis to admitted candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship and residency in El Salvador
- English language skills
- Professional experience and leadership potential, specifically as a civil servant, government official, nonprofit practitioner, or NGO leader
- Willingness to work in El Salvador for a minimum of two years in a government agency, nonprofit organization, or NGO or in an organization working outside the country to advance the goals of El Salvador
To Apply: The deadline to submit an application for admission to the 2009-2010 El Salvador Fellowship Program is January 3, 2009.
As part of the regular application, candidates must submit academic transcripts, GRE and TOEFL test scores, three letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and a current resume.
In addition, as part of the supplemental materials portion of the application, candidates who wish to be considered for the El Salvador Fellowship must include a one-page statement explaining how this program will advance your intellectual and professional interests.
