Fellowships up one level

Mohammed bin Rashid Fellows Program

Mohammed bin Rashid Fellowships provide funding to qualified Harris School students from the Arab region. Fellows must have prior professional experience in the region and must demonstrate leadership capabilities as well as dedication and commitment to the region’s human and socioeconomic progress. Upon graduation, fellows are required to return to the Arab region for at least two years to work in either the public or private sector. The program is funded by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF).

Mohammed bin Rashid Fellows may enroll in the two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) program or the one-year Master of Arts (AM) program, depending on their background.

MBRF will award 2-5 fellowships per year to qualified candidates, to cover the costs of tuition, books, accommodation, travel, and a stipend for the full duration of the fellowship. Students from the following countries are eligible to apply: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen.

The Two-Year Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program

The program consists of eighteen courses that provide a foundation in critical policy analysis, reflecting the School’s belief that mastering analytical skills prepares students to be effective public policy practitioners. Learn more about the MPP program.

The One-Year Master of Arts (AM) Program

The curriculum for the one-year program consists of six of the seven core courses prescribed for the two-year master's program and three elective courses. Applicants must hold a J.D., M.B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. from an accredited university, a master's degree in a related field, or a B.A. from an accredited university and five years of relevant work experience.
