Harris offers six different master’s programs with various certificate options, as well as eight joint degree programs and a doctoral program designed for an academic or research-oriented career. We also offer executive education programs and the opportunity to get a taste of Harris through the Graduate Student-at-Large Program, which offers credit transferable to degree-granting programs.

Learn more about the new Harris Public Policy Evening Master's Program. Housed downtown, it's designed for mid-career professionals who are looking to make a measurable impact on the social and public policy issues they and their organizations face. The program culminates in a Master of Arts in public policy and can be completed in four quarters. Classes will be held on nights and weekends and take place at 1871 in the Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago beginning January 2018.

We're here from day one to help you design your path and acquire the knowledge you need to succeed, whether your major was English or econ, whether you worked at a food bank or the World Bank.
The doctoral program at Harris prepares students interested in research-oriented careers involving the substantive and institutional aspects of public policy. Our doctoral students have close ties with the greater research community at the University of Chicago, and many of our candidates are engaged in the classroom and in workshops at the Department of Economics and Chicago Booth School of Business.
