Peter Ellis is the founder and President of Peter Ellis New Cities, an architecture and urban design firm that is dedicated to the design and the implementation of new cities.

Unlike traditional design firms that undertake an occasional master plan, Ellis Cities brings together the leadership that guides the entire process of creating a new city, from the master plan, to the design of the neighborhoods, to architectural design of significant buildings. Furthermore, the practice determines the infrastructure and the energy systems necessary for the next generation of sustainable cities.

Peter Ellis New Cities is presently designing the Jaypee Sports City in Greater Noida. The city is projected to have a population of 1,000,000 people.

Before establishing Peter Ellis New Cities, Mr. Ellis was a Design Partner with the internationally renown firm of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He graduated from the College of Architecture, Cornell University, 1971.

Peter Ellis New Cities has offices at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida, India, and at 372 West Ontario Street, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
