About Eric Potash

Eric Potash is a postdoctoral scholar in the economics group at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. His research applies econometric and statistical methods to questions in public health and environmental protection. Specific interests include the evaluation of childhood lead poisoning investigations and the use of predictive modeling to target environmental inspection resources. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Northwestern University and a B.A. in mathematics from Columbia University.
