Daniel G. Sullivan, Ph.D.

Daniel G. Sullivan is a senior economist and vice-president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and a visiting faculty member at the Harris School.

Daniel G. Sullivan is a senior economist and vice president in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Sullivan is the team leader of the applied microeconomics group. His research is in the area of labor economics, especially issues related to displaced workers and alternative work arrangements.

Prior to joining the Chicago Fed, Sullivan was an assistant professor of economics at Northwestern University and has also taught at Princeton University. He has published articles in Econometrica, The American Economic Review, the Journal of Law and Economics, the Journal of Economic Perspectives, the Journal of Industrial Economics, and the Journal of Political Economy.

Sullivan received an B.A. in mathematics and statistics from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University.
