Experts Guide

Harris School faculty conduct policy relevant research on a wide range of public policy issues and questions. Much of that research is characterized by an interdisciplinary collaboration in an effort to improve our understanding of the real-world effects of public policies and to point the way to new solutions to persistent problems.

Harris School faculty are also engaged in a variety of initiatives that help to contribute the results of new research to policy debates. These efforts include working with community, non-profit, and private sector institutions, as well as advising government agencies and other research organizations. Harris School faculty have been influential in deliberations on such questions as national health care reform, housing policy, education and job training, child and family policy, poverty and urban inequality issues.
