Summer Convocation 2010

Following the University of Chicago’s annual summer convocation, three PhD graduates were hooded during a private Harris School ceremony and reception on August 27.
Gathered in a community lounge at 5710 S. Woodlawn, family and friends watched as Valentina Calderon-Mejia, Rachel Eliza Garrett, and Tana Lynn Johnson received honorary blue hoods, the color for public policy, from faculty members Dan Black, Ioana Marniescu, and Duncan Snidal.
Although not in attendance, PhD students Michelle Pannor and MPP student Dustin Cody Schrader were also among Harris School's 2010 summer graduates.
