When you come to the Harris School, you know that you will leave with a solid foundation for working effectively in the real world. Yours will be a forceful and credible voice in public policy debate. You will have the tools you need to question, to implement, and to evaluate.

How will you get there? Through rigorous training in quantitative analysis and social science research offered in the context of a multidisciplinary approach. Policy problems rarely fit neatly into self-contained specialties; you will pursue core courses that cross disciplinary boundaries. At the same time, you will select from substantive areas of focus that will tailor your studies to fit your own interests and career goals.

Throughout your training, you will develop the professional and leadership skills you will need by working in teams, participating in workshops, developing effective writing and oral presentation skills, and taking part in special interest forums.
