Hosting an Information Session
Information sessions increase your on campus recruiting. Information session allow you to highlight your organization, as well as outline qualifications you seek in job candidates. With the exception of established site visits, information sessions are held at the Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Space is limited and advance reservations are encouraged. A member of our staff will notify you once your date, time, and room are confirmed.
Times and Catering
The best time to schedule an information session is over lunch (approximately 12:00-1:15 p.m.) Employers often choose to provide luncheon snacks and or beverages for student attending information sessions. The Career Development Office is happy to provide assistance in placing refreshment orders for your presentation.
Audio/Visual
In need of A/V equipment? There is no fee for AV equipment, but requests must be submitted well in advance.
Advertising and Employer Brochure
We encourage employers to mail or email posters and flyers to the Career Development Office. We are happy to post them in high traffic areas to acquaint students with your upcoming event. Students typically access information about organizations from HarrisLink; however, company brochures can be mailed in advance to:
