Harris School students have access to both Harris School Career Services and also
to Career Advising and Planning Services (CAPS), the career office for the University
of Chicago.
In order to participate in CAPS' on campus recruiting program, students are required to use the
InterviewTRAK component of UChicagoTRAK (a system that provides students with job and internship listings). Students must
attend an information session to obtain access to InterviewTRAK. Click here for
further information. Generally, organizations interested in hiring students from many degree programs at the university will
schedule their recruiting visits through CAPS; those primarily interested in MPP students will arrange their sessions through
Career Services at the Harris School.
In addition to recruiting events, CAPS offers workshops, job fairs and other programs. It also maintains a
web site with many career-related guides and resources and has an extensive library. CAPS is located in Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th Street.
