Sean Durkin, Ph.D.


Sean Durkin is a lecturer in the Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies.

Durkin's research interests are in the areas of international and development economics.

He received a BSFS from Georgetown University and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago. Previously, he was a faculty member of the economics department at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and he has also worked as a consultant to the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. Currently, he also serves as a consultant to Chicago Partners, an economic consulting firm, on matters in international trade, antitrust, health care and other economic issues.
